Canned Salmon

Fully cooked and ready to eat straight from the can. Works anywhere canned tuna would, with a richer flavor. Higher in omega-3s than most canned proteins.

How to use it

  • Drain the liquid before using.
  • The soft bones in the can are edible and a good source of calcium. You can mash them right in or pick them out if you prefer.
  • Canned salmon works well in patties, pasta, rice dishes, and on crackers.

Storage

  • Unopened cans keep for years.
  • Once opened, refrigerate and use within 3-4 days.
