Allergens: Contains Dairy (cheese), Gluten (flour tortillas). Use corn tortillas or lettuce wraps for gluten-friendly version.

Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 8 slices lunch meat (turkey, ham, or whatever you have)
  • 4 slices or ½ cup shredded cheese

Optional Extras

  • Mustard or mayonnaise spread inside
  • Lettuce or spinach
  • Salsa for dipping
  • Sliced bell peppers inside

Equipment

  • None — just a flat surface

Instructions

  1. Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface.
  2. Layer 2 slices of lunch meat and 1 slice of cheese on each tortilla.
  3. Add mustard, mayonnaise, or any other extras you have.
  4. Roll each tortilla up tightly. Cut in half if you like.
  5. Eat immediately or wrap in foil/plastic for later.

Notes

  • On bread instead: Make a regular sandwich if you don't have tortillas.
  • Heat it up: Place the rolled tortilla in a dry skillet for 1–2 minutes per side to melt the cheese and crisp the outside.
  • Pack for lunch. These travel well wrapped in foil.
  • No cheese? Still works. Spread peanut butter and add lunch meat for a surprisingly good combination (or just use mayo/mustard).
  • Kids' version: Cut into pinwheels — slice the rolled tortilla into 1-inch rounds.
