Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Optional Extras

  • Sliced banana on top
  • Cinnamon sprinkled on
  • Granola bar crumbled on top for crunch

Equipment

  • Toaster or skillet
  • Butter knife

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread to your liking.
  2. Spread peanut butter on each slice.
  3. Drizzle honey on top.
  4. Top with sliced banana or a sprinkle of cinnamon if you have them.

Notes

  • No toaster? Toast bread in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side.
  • Jam instead of honey works great too for a classic PB&J on toast.
  • Make it a meal: Add a banana on the side and a glass of milk. That's a full breakfast.
  • Syrup works as a honey substitute if that's what you have.
