Tuna Cracker Plate
Canned tuna served on crackers with mustard or mayo. A no-cook lunch that takes about two minutes to put together.
Allergens: Contains fish (tuna), wheat (crackers), and eggs (mayo, if used). Skip mayo for egg-free.
Ingredients
- 1 can tuna, drained
- 10-15 crackers
Optional Extras
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Diced onion
- Salt and pepper
- Hot sauce
- Pickle relish
Equipment
- Can opener
- Fork
- Plate
Instructions
- Drain tuna and put it in a bowl or directly on a plate.
- Break it up with a fork.
- Mix in mayo or mustard if you have it. Add diced onion, salt, pepper, or hot sauce if available.
- Scoop tuna onto crackers and eat.
Notes
- This is a real meal. Tuna is high in protein and crackers add carbs. Two servings of this will keep you full for hours.
- No crackers? Use bread, toast, or tortillas instead.
- Make it a tuna melt. Put tuna and cheese on bread and microwave for 30 seconds or heat in a skillet.
- Pack for lunch. Keep the tuna and crackers separate until you're ready to eat so the crackers stay crunchy.
