Tuna Cracker Plate

Canned tuna served on crackers with mustard or mayo. A no-cook lunch that takes about two minutes to put together.

Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 10-15 crackers

Optional Extras

  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  • Diced onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • Hot sauce
  • Pickle relish

Equipment

  • Can opener
  • Fork
  • Plate

Instructions

  1. Drain tuna and put it in a bowl or directly on a plate.
  2. Break it up with a fork.
  3. Mix in mayo or mustard if you have it. Add diced onion, salt, pepper, or hot sauce if available.
  4. Scoop tuna onto crackers and eat.

Notes

  • This is a real meal. Tuna is high in protein and crackers add carbs. Two servings of this will keep you full for hours.
  • No crackers? Use bread, toast, or tortillas instead.
  • Make it a tuna melt. Put tuna and cheese on bread and microwave for 30 seconds or heat in a skillet.
  • Pack for lunch. Keep the tuna and crackers separate until you're ready to eat so the crackers stay crunchy.
