Instructions
- Drain the canned peaches.
- Melt butter in a small skillet or saucepan over medium heat.
- Add peach slices and sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon if you have it.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring gently, until the peaches are warm and the sugar makes a light syrup.
- Serve warm. Top with crushed cereal, oatmeal, or a spoonful of peanut butter if you want.
notes & tips
- Microwave version. Put drained peaches in a bowl, add butter and sugar, microwave for 90 seconds. Stir and serve.
- Works with any canned fruit. Pears, mixed fruit, and even applesauce all work the same way.
- Top with cereal crumble. Crush some Chex or granola on top for crunch. It's like a quick cobbler.
